Job Summary
The Compliance & Onboarding Officer will serve as the primary point of contact for candidates (U.S healthcare providers who have accepted the job offer) during their pre-employment/onboarding process, and will performs tasks such as:
- Gathering, reviewing, and verifying the validity of candidates’ credentials such as BLS certificate, position specific licenses/certificates, identification documents and other requirements such as medical/immunization records.
- Initiating background checks (criminal checks), conducting reference checks and verifying employment history and educational background of the candidates.
- Maintaining and monitoring records of all actively working healthcare providers throughout the remainder of their assignment to ensure that their credentials on file such as licenses, certifications, and medical records are up to date and in compliance with the accrediting body (Joint Commission).
- Providing reminders to actively working healthcare providers ahead of time and helping them make the necessary arrangements for renewing their expiring credentials/requirements.
Qualifications
- Experience in US healthcare onboarding/credentialing or related experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills (English)
- Detail-oriented, attentive and can multi-task
- Proficient in basic MS Office tools
